He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Robert Staples, O.D. - Optometrist | Dry Eye & Specialty Contact Lens Care | Wichita Falls, TX

Dr. Staples is an optometrist at North Texas Ophthalmology Associates with more than 30 years of experience in comprehensive eye care. He has focused expertise in the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease, as well as the fitting of specialty contact lenses, including custom GP and scleral lenses for patients with complex corneal or ocular surface conditions.

He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry and holds certification in the treatment and management of glaucoma. Throughout his career, Dr. Staples has practiced in private settings and served as a faculty associate at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
